Come dressed as your favorite Harlem habitue or personality, past or present: from Washington, Hamilton, Madame Jumel, Rose Kennedy, A’Lelia Walker, Langston Hughes, Cary Grant, Josephine Baker or Zora Neal Hurston to Bill Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg, Puff Daddy, Lil’ Kim, Princess Turin and Taxis or Billy Dee Williams! Alternately, just be a Harlem flapper, gangster, swing dancer or star — in Harlem the possibilities are endless!

Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes in three categories, most original, most faithful and most beautiful !

Springtime awards for 20 years of outstanding preservation projects will be announced !
